Some people just don't understand anything about the heritage units.
My friend and I went to go see the Southern Pacific Heritage unit today, and we went to a few small towns to see it. While go through there, we figured that the people there just thought,
"Oh look, another freight train. Oh, that's weird, the last locomotive looks different."
Then we thought that mabye everybody didn't even notice that the train came through.
Later, we watched the train come through another town, saw a guy with his kids, and as the UP 1996 came through, and then a coal train seconds after it that had a patched Chicago and Northwestern lead unit and patched Southern Pacific unit it (that was pure luck), we figure he, or his kids for that matter, knew that they just saw something amazing.
Some people just don't understand.
